Reformer Pilates is a form of Pilates performed on a specialized piece of equipment called a reformer. The reformer allows movement to be gentle on joints while building strength, and uses springs, straps and a moving carriage to provide both the resistance and the support as you move. This allows you to build strength, improve mobility and stability, and develop greater body awareness. At The Pilates Hub, our reformer Pilates classes are thoughtfully taught by our certified team for a range of experience levels, from complete beginners to experienced practitioners!
Pilates is a movement method focused on core strength, stability, mobility, coordination, and body awareness. Reformer Pilates uses the reformer machine to add resistance, support, and additional movement options to traditional Pilates exercises. At The Pilates Hub, our group classes primarily use the reformer, giving you the benefit of Pilates while allowing you to adjust the challenge level to your body's unique experience and goals.
