CHRISTINA MAWER

WHY I TEACH:
Pilates has been the best thing to happen to me and I want to share that joy with others.
Having back issues in my early 20’s I walked through life with a lot of pain, until I found Pilates. It reduced my pain, made me feel strong and challenged me mentally and physically.

WHY I TEACH:
My first pilates session, combined with that essential ingredient of a really caring knowledgeable instructor, was the perfect intervention for my body. Tough love without the intimidation, where movement can feel curious, free, and actually fun. I was hooked and forever changed. As an instructor I love seeing people’s day instantly get better the second they walk in. Witnessing strength, smiles, and confidence build through class. Then knowing their idea of movement and the rest of their day will be easier when they walk out the door. Getting to play a part in that is awesome.

WHY I TEACH:
The short answer is because I want to help everyone feel good in their bodies. I enjoy meeting people where they’re at while also being a guide to explore more. When I started doing pilates, it was so empowering. It made me feel free, strong and ready to take on the day. I want to be the someone that brings that to people's lives and share tools to create ease in everyday movement outside of the studio as well.
3 WORDS THAT DESCRIBE ME:
1. Observant
2. Genuine
3. Caring
Kiden Brackebusch

WHY I TEACH:
I loved pilates since the first time I tried it, but what I still appreciate most is that it has taught me so much about my own body and how to be in tune with it. I have been a dancer for the majority of my life, so it was obvious to me how pilates helped me become stronger, dance better, and move through day-to-day activities with better posture. I teach to help others experience pilates in the same powerful way that I have, whether it's similar to or different from my story.
3 WORDS THAT DESCRIBE ME:
1. Flexible
2. Patient
3. Diligent
